We are a 30 years old French married couple leaving close to Paris, fascinated by travelling (we travel a lot). We will be in China from October 1st to October 21st 2006. We plan to visit Beijing, Hangzhou and Shanghai.

We will be delighted to be welcomed by a host family during this time, leaving in these cities or arround, highly motivated by showing their way of leaving, habbits and interested in, currious, to know our European culture.

We have a simple life, are quite, respectful and we love nature and animals.

We can propose a compansation of 150 yuan per week (housing only) or 300 Yuan (housing + all meals included).

I am from Beijing, for 150 yuan per week it is very difficult to get a place in Beijing inner city, where it is about 250 per week for a flat, 150 would be difficult for foreigners, everyone try rap you off. I think for 150 probably OK, if you want to share a room with my friends. They have not meet any foreigners, communication would be a challenge.

Or I have relatives near Beijing (about 60 kilos), where in suburb you probably can get around with 150 per week for a room, you can meet all the job seekers from country side, you probably feel very isolated, people treat you like an alien, but that is real China. You can explore Beijing by train or get a rental car (this I am not too sure if you can use your French license, you can ask rental companies nicely)
